I am a Singapore citizen. I had just completed the rabbinic ordination in Israel in the Hebrew language. For the past eight months, I have been undertaking a project writing a book about Jewish Entrepreneurship in Yiwu. On the side I am export agent for some of my business partners in the United States. I am able to speak Mandarin Chinese fluently, which means that I am able to communicate directly to Chinese co-workers, students and vendors. Having learnt Japanese for 3 years in the University from native speakers, I am able to speak Japanese with a good accent, good grammar and a decent range of vocabulary. I have also six years of teaching experience in Singapore schools. During my contract in a private school in Singapore, I had the opportunity to teach students from all over the world, including students from China. I had very good experience teaching them as Chinese students tend to be more serious and disciplined in learning English. I am trained and experienced in formulating curricula suited for the students from beginner, intermediate and advance courses. I have special interests in Chinese and Japanese culture and am familiar with Asian etiquette and customs. This means I will be able to effectively communicate with the local people. I sincerely hope you would consider me for the position. |
