2013/Present Iskra9 SA, Business start-up, In partnership with two friends of mine, I started a new company, active in the building sector. I provide pre and post sales customer service to our clients and generate new sales and business opportunities. I am also responsible for keeping financial accounts of new and existing customers.
2007/2013 Emanuele Centonze SA, Balerna, Switzerland. REACH Implementation Manager, responsible for the implementation of the new European Union's Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Regulation for the company’s products. My main duties within the company were:
1) Inventory of all the company’s chemical substances subject to REACH regulation.
2) Maintaining and establishing good relations with suppliers and clients in order to exchange information.
3) Collection and evaluation of the necessary information to pre-register the substances.
4) Taking part in pre-consortia and consortia meetings in order to prepare the full registration dossiers.
5) Assessing the economic impact of REACH for the company and selection of critical substances.
6) Responsible for the technical and commercial aspects of the hazardous waste disposal business.
7) Responsible for the redaction of MSDSs (Material Safety Data Sheets) and TDSs.

- Romania. Full time lecturer to Ph.D. and M.Sc. students on electron (SEM and TEM) and Optical microscopy techniques.
2007 Marie Curie “Transfer of Knowledge” Fellowships, Zabrze, ‘Polish Academy of Science’- Poland. Synthesis and characterization (GPC, FT-IR, NMR) of biodegradable polyesters. Part-time lecturer to undergraduate and graduate students on antimony and titanium alkoxides chemistry and structural characterization.

Carrying out experimental and theoretical research on how point mutations in
enzymes can affect their catalytic activity.
2002/2007 Ph.D. Inorganic Chemistry, University of Newcastle upon Tyne, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Synthesis (Schlenk techniques), characterization (NMR, FT-IR, UV, X-Ray) and reactivity studies of antimony alkoxide compounds. Synthesis and characterization (SEM, TEM, XRD) of metal antimony nanoparticles. Laboratory demonstrator and part-time lecturer to undergraduate and graduate students in: Advanced Inorganic Chemistry, Advanced Physical Chemistry, Molecular Modeling and General Chemistry.
2003 During Ph.D. studies Marie Curie Fellowships 'University of Zaragoza' - Spain. Calculation of antimony alkoxides geometric and spectroscopic properties with Gaussian 98 software package.
2000/2001 Sales Representative for Menarini Group, Promotion of new and existing medicines towards the medical class, both GP’s and Specialists.
