After exploring Hainan and the potential business opportunities for the majority of 2014, I have successfully set
up my own golf coaching WFOE in Haikou, Hainan. In my so far short time in Hainan, I have been able to build a
strong client base of over 150 students and it is still growing. I have aimed to specialise in Youth Development
and teaching Elite Juniors, whilst teaching adults for around 30% of my time. I am the coach of successful Group
C Player, Jordan Zhang and Group D (Top 5) player, Angel Zhang. As well as working with many juniors
throughout the week, achieving the targets set by myself, the player and their parents. Despite my coaching
responsibilities, I am responsible for pricing structures, promotions, recruitment, finance and much more, as you
would expect with being a business owner.

I was involved in a partnership to promote golf lessons at West Malling Golf Club. Working with fellow
management colleagues, I was heavily involved in internet marketing including the maintenance of an ecommerce
website where people could purchase lesson vouchers online. I was also solely responsible for
increase SEO for the site and reached the Number 1 position on Google. I was also a Senior Golf Instructor
where in my 3.5 years I managed to obtain an impressive client base, mainly due to self marketing online or to
the local community. My innovative ideas and lesson packages, teamed with my approachable and calming
mannerisms proved extremely popular, with golfers choosing my services over those who have more
experience.

Alongside my role as a Business Partner within the coaching establishment, I was employed as a retail assistant at
the largest Golf Retail Establishment in Kent. My role was to help drive quality customer service to members
and visitors alike. Every year, I would voluntarily go to seminars with various manufacturers to expand my
knowledge, to have clear and concise, as well as helpful information for my customers. This drive and
commitment to the role, meant I was quickly established as a renowned Custom Fitter of golf clubs in Kent. My
ability to listen to the customers desires, as well as input my knowledge to the fitting. Ultimately, these
customers enjoy their golf more and there is nothing more rewarding.
