Primary Objective of the Position
Third in command; reporting to Human Resources Manager, responsible for:
• Day to day administration of Human Resources Department
• Man Power Planning: Ensuring productivity by tracking manpower, ensuring hiring in compliance to headcount budgets. Assisting Department Heads in analyzing hierarchy and streamlining the levels of the department.
• Associate Relations: Organizing activities to help create and sustain a work environment that builds trust and team work. Counseling Associates across departments and addressing their concerns. Implementing Associate Recognition Programs in line with the service requirement of the operations departments to drive Associate Engagement. Developing and implementing Communication Channels for the workforce. Sustaining a work environment that focuses on fair and equitable treatment and Associate satisfaction to enable business success. Overseeing maintenance of Associate services like Cafeteria, Lockers, etc.
• Total Compensation: Overseeing administration of compensation for both management and non management associates. Focus on compliance with Marriott Standard Operating Procedures relating to compensation. Overseeing the administration of Associate Benefits like hospitalization coverage, personal accident coverage, Leave Travel Allowance etc.
• Utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others
• Informing and interacting with Human Resources on Associate issues as needed.
• Monitoring processes and evaluating information according to SOP and LSOP requirements.
• Ensuring the implementation of Associate Engagement Survey and associate engagement action plans.
• Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.
• Documenting, Retaining and Managing files for current and terminated associates.
• Overlooking of PAYROLL & Salary Structures across the board
• Managing of Offer, Appointment, Promotion, Increment & Correction Letters for entire staff
• Maintaining of Leave Status& Accruals for the entire staff, keeping a check on the P&L status
• Maintenance of all the Monthly & Weekly reports
• Coordinating of all Spirit to Serve Activities
