2011-14
Support Worker for adults with severe learning difficulties-Zeno LTD, Manchester
Duties: -Supporting adults with severe learning difficulties in their everyday activities both inside their homes and on excursions. I was part of a team supporting the most challenging clients in Northern England. Duties included everything from emotional and physical support of clients with severe autism, down syndrome, bi-polar disorder etc. to administrational duties. I received in-house training on a variety of topics including CPI training and medicine distribution. This job has taught me tolerance, patience and the ability to act quickly in challenging situations. It was a wonderful experience.
