for in-class and out-class activities; planning, organizing and conducting individual and
group English classes for students with all language backgrounds (Starter to Advanced
levels) and of any age; carrying out placement and final tests to control and monitor
students’ progress.
My teaching methodology and classes structure are based on these three core prin-
ciples: first, developing communication skills of my students with the view of mas-
tering their lexical and grammatical competence in English, developing their “thinking in
English ” in the course of live and dynamic conversations (from the very first lessons)
as well as coping with the language barrier on the way to natural communication in
English; second, I pay specific attention to individual interests and preferences of
the students to provide them with truly learning atmosphere so that when the students
complete the course they are able to express their thoughts in English confidently and
appropriately; third, gamification – bringing creative and role games as well as other
interactive activities and techniques into the language learning what considerably in-
creases students’ motivation, personal contribution to the classes and their keen inter-
est in learning English.
Besides, in my teaching I use only authentic textbooks (for example, Speak Out, Cut-
ting Edge, Inside Out, McMillan, Pearson Longman and others) and modern gadgets to
keep the students exposed to the language interaction at all times.
At the end of each month I make a teacher’s report showing the results of my work and
take part in round-table discussions with the rest of the teaching staff of the Business
School to exchange our experiences and ideas.
