• Customer service skills – Responding to customer complaints in a professional manner. Assisting customers to locate products in an efficient and cheerful manner.
• Monitory skills - Working with cash, ordering change for tills, counting and sending money to the office, ensuring that till balances at the end of my shift.
• Leadership Skills – Managing staff within the service department, as well assisting customers as problems arise, receiving inventories through receiving area.
• Record Keeping skills – Recording data in food safety log in compliance with legislation.
• Organisational Skills – Replenishing stock and ensuring that stock is carefully rotated and presented.
• Manual Lifting Skills – Splitting pallets of inventory as they enter the store.

Volunteering in Phnom Penh Orphanage, Month of November 2013
• Teaching- helping those from young children to young adults with English and mathematics homework.
• Caretaking- caring for the children and ensuring their safety.
• Organisation- Organising activities and excursions for the children to ensure they had varying physical activities and intellectual stimulation available.

In my current customer service role I actively listen to customer complaints and use my skills to reach a harmonious outcome.

As I have a younger brother with special needs who has difficulty communicating using spoken language, I have learnt to find other ways such as non – verbal communication to overcome this problem.
