The duties of both of these job titles: Used art media, images, the creative art process, and patient/client responses to artwork as reflections of an individual’s development, abilities, personality, interests, concerns, and conflicts. Reported findings to other members of treatment team and applied their feedback to the patient’s treatment plan. Maintained appropriate charts, records, and periodic reports on patient progress as required by agency guidelines and professional standards. Supervised student art therapists. Maintained and repaired art materials and equipment. Designed behavioral treatment plans as a means of addressing thought and mood disorders with adults.

I helped run groups in both of these locations involving a clearly structured task, time for independent work, peer to peer processing of the task, and then a group review of the idea and challenges at hand.
