Working as a part-time Mathematics Tutor, which involves cooperation, communication and listening skills. I am extremely dedicated to share my numerical knowledge to others, by preparing work for them and reflection activities to complete, to make sure they understand the work to their full potential.

Working as a part-time healthcare assistant, providing confidentiality and dignity to individual patients at all times, by assisting them with personal care, and providing them with a clean environment and emotional support. Learning about mental and physical health, providing emotional, social, and medical support to others. Being respectful of patient’s autonomy, rights, and both religious and cultural beliefs.

2017-present – CareKind, Whitchurch, Shropshire

Volunteering as a telephone assessor at Ceredigion’s Citizens’ Advice Bureau, providing information and legal advice to clients, on how to overcome their sensitive and personal issues. Answering general enquiries, recognising when a client may not be claiming what they are entitled to, and referring them to a specialist if further support is needed. Keeping the client’s confidentiality, remaining empathetic and helping the client, in order to assist them with essential information.

2016-2017 – Ceredigion’s Citizens’ Advice Bureau, Aberystwyth

Worked as a part-time barmaid, interacting politely with customers, to maintain excellent customer service. Working in a team-based culture, to provide a fun and friendly environment for customers.

Participated in a ‘Business Start-up Week’ event, learning how to start-up your own business, developing entrepreneur skills, and a business-like sense. Developing knowledge about sales and marketing, whilst interacting and researching with others. Exploring the financial and marketing aspects of a business, to conclude a strategy on how to build a successful business.

2016 – Aberystwyth University

Volunteered at Aberystwyth’s Magistrates’ Court. Analysing and communicating independently in the courtroom, listening to cases, to provide the defendant with advice on how to overcome future convictions. Using legal knowledge, remaining empathetic and confidential, to communicate well with others, while talking about sensitive issues.

Worked in retail, in a commercial setting to sell goods to customers, as a sales advisor. Building commercial awareness, and developing knowledge on how corporations operate and commercial decisions are made. Furthermore, developing knowledge about technology, and improving on my sales skills.

2015 – Curry’s PC World, Aberystwyth

Worked as a part-time waitress, which involves interacting politely with customers and providing excellent customer service. I was responsible for dealing with money, improving on my money management and organisation skills.
