_________________________________________________ Did a 3 week TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Course in Chaing Mai in April 2016. From June till to date, I have been teaching English to 3 – 12 year olds. Although I have not had a lot of experience with children, I have babysat my 2 small cousins fairly often and have played and encouraged quite a few of my mom’s friend’s children too. However, I have the patience, dedication and enthusiasm to teach children and am looking forward to this new exciting challenge and venture.
INTERESTS/HOBBIES _________________________________________________ Participated in Water Polo, Squash, Athletics, Cross-country, Swimming, bit of soccer and Rugby at school. Did MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). Ride off-road motor bike endurance races and social events. Attend Gym regularly (about 3 times per week). Lead a very healthy lifestyle. Enjoy the outdoors, swimming, water sports and exercising. Am passionate about motorbikes, go riding off-road regularly. Enjoy working on my bike and fixing it and other things around the house.
I matriculated in November 2015 at Maritzburg College, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. I am a positive, happy, social, sporty person (love the outdoors and any water sports). I am honest, reliable, neat, organised and look forward to new challenges in my life. I am willing to learn and to work hard in whatever I do and will give my 100%. I am not completely sure as to what I would like to do now that I have left school, (something with my hands, not an office job most probably engineering or working with children), so feel that a “working gap year” would be a great way to work and hopefully mature and find my “strengths” and “weaknesses” and what I really enjoy
